Rolling Stones to air anniversary on Sky

By on October 30, 2012

[DS]: The Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary tour is to be broadcast live on Sky.

The band will play two shows at London’s O2 Arena next month and a further two gigs at Newark’s Prudential Centre on December 13 and 15.

The group’s final show in New Jersey will be available to watch live through Sky Box Office from 2am (GMT) on December 16.

However, fans who don’t wish to stay up for the show will be able to download the gig to their Sky+ planner and watch on demand.

“Sky is thrilled to be able to offer our customers The Rolling Stones’ 50th Anniversary Concert live in their living room,” said Ian Lewis, director of Sky Box Office.

“Whether live or on demand, customers will be able to enjoy the gig exactly at a time that suits them. And with the whole gig available in HD and in Dolby Surround Sound, it’s the next best thing to being there.”

The concert – titled ‘One More Shot’ – will be priced at £14.95 by Sky, who has partnered with WWE, in association with Dainty Group and Endemol, to offer the show.

We're having some issues with our host

(well they're kind of forcing us to upgrade our server due to traffic, apologises for the inconvenience)

Apparently anyway... they basically just want us to pay for a dedicated server.
