Paloma Faith: ‘Americans love me’

By on October 19, 2012

[DS]: Paloma Faith has revealed that she is not nervous about trying to crack the US.

The singer explained that she feels confident about releasing her latest album Fall To Grace in the States after a string of positive gig reviews in the country.

“I am doing a lot of things in America at the moment, I’m trying to crack it over there,” she told Jon Hornbuckle. “The album is coming out there next month.

“I’m not nervous about America, I don’t really get nervous about anything. I think you shouldn’t put too much pressure on yourself.

“I know people will make comparisons between me in America and how other people have gone down but I just did some gigs over there and all the reviews were amazing.”

She continued: “Americans love my theatricality; they don’t want someone that just stands there and sings, they like the entertainment of it all – the spectacle!”

Faith recently sang with a choir of unemployed and under-employed young people outside the Houses of Parliament.

Apparently anyway... they basically just want us to pay for a dedicated server.
