Alicia Keys to play one-off Manchester show

[DS]: Alicia Keys will play a one-off headline show in Manchester later this month.

The singer will perform at MTV Crashes Manchester, which takes place at the city’s cathedral on September 24.

Tickets are free for the event, which has been organised in association with Manchester City Council.

The show will be the first opportunity for UK fans to hear new tracks from Keys’s forthcoming album Girl on Fire.

“All of the love and work I’ve poured into Girl on Fire has been for moments like this – when I’m able to travel the world and share the experience of performing my favourite songs with my family across the globe,” Keys said.

“I’m so excited to be a part of MTV Crashes Manchester and to celebrate music in such an inspiring and historic setting.”

Alicia Keys’s new album Girl on Fire will be released in the UK on November 26.
