[DS]: Taylor Swift has broken a US download record for a female artist.

The country singer’s latest single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ became the second fastest-selling song ever in terms of US downloads last week.

The top 10 fastest-selling songs in the US are:

1. Flo Rida – ‘Right Round’ – 636,000 (February 2009)
2. Taylor Swift ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ – 623,000 (August 2012)
3. Ke$ha – ‘TiK ToK’ – 610,000 (January 2010)
4. Bruno Mars – ‘Grenade’ – 559,000 (January 2011)
5. Gotye – ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ – 542,000 (April 2012)
6. Justin Bieber – ‘Boyfriend’ – 521,000 (April 2012)
7. Lady GaGa – ‘Born This Way’ – 509,000 (March 2011)
8. Katy Perry – ‘Firework’ – 509,000 (January 2011)
9. Maroon 5 – ‘Payphone’ – 493,000 (May 2012)
