Olympics Closing Ceremony: Supermodels on the Runway

fashionista: London‘s successfully made itself into a fashion capital over the last few decades–and that’s perhaps never been made more clear than last night, with some of the city’s strongest contributions to the fashion business–models and designers alike.

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, the obvious stars of the show, wore gilded Alexander McQueen. The gold theme continued with Stella Tennant in Christopher Kane, Georgia May Jagger in Victoria Beckham, Lily Donaldson in Vivienne Westwood, Lily Cole in Erdem, David Gandy in Paul Smith, Jourdan Dunn in Jonathan Saunders and a Stephen Jones headpiece, and Karen Elson in Burberry.
