Today Topshop’s very own designer line, Unique, dropped their new collection for autumn/winter 2012. The iconic high street store epitomises modern British street styling, and the brand’s high-end line continues this theme perfectly. This coming season’s collection encompasses many aspects of uniform and military dressing, it’s ultimate utilitarian with a focus on intriguing textures and rich autumnal tones. Strict lines, luxurious fabrics and cross motifs run fluently throughout the collection, and the design team describe it as “a stream of pieces to be seen on the runway and worn on the street,” whilst Kate Phelan, Creative Director of Unique, instructs us to: “Relax it – mix it up!”

The collection is available from today in major Topshop stores and online.
