Lianne La Havas- ‘Is Your Love Big Enough’

Released this week was the debut album from the 22-year-old singer from London, “Is Your Love Big Enough”.

It features crowd favourites, “Forget”, “Au Cinema” (which, as Lianne told me herself, means ‘at the cinema’ in French), and, obviously, title track “Is Your Love Big Enough”.

The album manages to bring together and mould moody, brooding lyrics with happily upbeat riffs and drumbeats to create something that is truly a pleasure to listen to, from start to finish. The tracks are also listed in such a good way, that the albums flows brilliantly, and makes it really easy to listen to. It’s definitely a “driving home from work in the sunshine” kind of album, and manages to make you smile all the way through. The exceptions to this rule are few and far between on this album, but the emotions behind the songs are clear and evident.

This is a top notch album, from a promising young artist. I strongly recommend a listen.
