Rita Ora teases collaborations with Rocnation artists

By on June 25, 2012

[DS] Rita Ora has confirmed that she has recorded new tracks with Roc Nation artists.

The singer told Digital Spy at BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend that she has lined up some collaborations for her debut album ORA.

“I have a few collaborations, but they are surprises,” Ora explained. “I can tell you that will.i.am is on one of the tracks, which is so fun.

“I can also tell you that the Roc Nation camp is involved in some circumstance.”

Roc Nation was founded by Jay-Z in 2008 and has artists including Ora, J Cole, Jay Electronica, Willow Smith and Alexis Jordan signed to its label.

The company also manages the careers of Rihanna, Shakira, MIA, The Ting Tings, Mark Ronson and Chase & Status.

Meanwhile, Ora also teased details about her duet with Conor Maynard for his upcoming debut album Contrast.

“I have so much love for that boy,” she said. “We were both in the same boat; he was trying to find his first single and I already had ‘RIP’, but I was still trying to find my album.

“He’s young and so talented and this track that we’ve done is really cool. It’s a Conor track. It has those ad libs that he does and then me, so it’s a nice mixture.”

Rita Ora’s first studio album ORA will be released on September 10.
