5-Year-Old Brings Dad’s Drugs to ‘Show-and-Tell’

Some kids bring their favorite toys and such to show-and-tell, but not this kid.

Santos Roman’s stepson decided to bring ten small plastic bags to the Barnum School in Bridgeport, Connecticut, each of which contained five folds of heroin.

The teacher immediately confiscated the drugs and called the boy’s step-dad.  When Roman arrived at the school, he was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor, possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics and possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school.

He was held on $100,000 bail, and after making bail Roman returned to the school to search his jacket for the drugs. They had, needless to say, been confiscated by the police.

The boy was turned over to the custody of the state Department of Children and Families. Poor kid.
